Meet the Founder
Dr. Susie Reiner is an industry and academic research scientist, writer, and educator with expertise spanning exercise physiology, human performance, and digital health. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Exercise and Sport Science at Seton Hall University, where her work focuses on applied research and translating science into practice across clinical, performance, and industry settings.
In addition to her academic role, Dr. Reiner is a consultant providing bespoke research, validation, and science-driven content services for fitness-, sport-, and wellness-technology companies. Her consulting work includes research strategy development, study design and implementation, data analysis, regulatory-aligned evidence generation, and content creation for practitioner, product, and consumer audiences.
Previously, Dr. Reiner served as Head of Science at Aletha Health, where she led scientific strategy for an AI-driven musculoskeletal health platform, supporting clinical validation, product development, and regulatory planning. She completed postdoctoral training at the Sports Medicine Research Institute at the University of Kentucky, where she led applied, federally funded research on injury risk and human performance in the fire service.
Dr. Reiner holds a PhD in Health Sciences with a specialization in Human and Sport Performance and an MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Her professional credentials include ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, and NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist. She serves on multiple committees within ACSM and NSCA, advancing research, education, and professional practice in the field.

Ben Doyle, BS, CSCS
Ben Doyle, BS, CSCS, is a human performance scientist and consultant with expertise in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and technology in the health/performance space. He is currently a PhD student in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. Ben’s research focuses on neuromuscular adaptation, fatigue, and individual responses to exercise and occupational demands. His work is centered on applying AI and machine learning approaches to modeling performance, musculoskeletal injuries, and cardiometabolic disease in athletes and the general public.
Ben is the founder and principal of Doyle Performance Solutions, LLC, where he provides consulting and coaching services with an emphasis on science communication, research design, and data science. He has previous experience working with a variety of teams and businesses, notably including the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL) and WeightWatchers, in addition to his ongoing work with TheoryEx. He holds a BS in Biology with Honors in Kinesiology from Penn State University and is an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Ben was a Division I swimmer for Penn State from 2020-2024, and has since transitioned to sprint track cycling, where he competes domestically and internationally.

Dr. Michael Kantor is an exercise physiologist, educator, and researcher specializing in human performance. He holds a PhD in Health Sciences with a concentration in Human and Sport Performance, as well as an MS and a BS in Exercise Physiology. He is credentialed as an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist® and holds the Exercise is Medicine® Credential. His research focuses on stress physiology in tactical populations, psychophysiological responses to training, quality of life in chronic conditions, and the application of technology to optimize performance.
Dr. Kantor’s experience spans academia, research, and industry. As an Assistant Professor, he led curriculum development, taught undergraduate coursework, and mentored students. As a Research Assistant, he built and managed a human performance lab, including metabolic systems, EMG, and wearable technology, while supporting budgeting, vendor coordination, and collaborative research initiatives. Currently, as Director of Fitness at the Cleveland Racquet Club, he oversees operations, staff development, and performance programming. He designs individualized and group training programs, conducts assessments, and delivers evidence-based services to support fitness, performance, and injury prevention.
